Meet Kristen K. Wold, LMFT

Kristen’s specialty is working with women who struggle with depression, anxiety, mood disorders and trauma. Kristen works with women who are having problems developing or sustaining relationships; who are finding it difficult to establish or move forward with goals and dreams; who are feeling emotionally disconnected or who are stuck in a negative cycle. In your work with Kristen you will explore limiting beliefs, negative thought processes and early childhood experiences which may be contributing to current struggles.

With over 20 years of experience in business management, and as a student of yoga for over 15 years, Kristen offers a unique perspective. She helps clients explore the connection between mind and body and believes that incorporating the body is imperative to healing mental health symptoms.

Kristen has completed the basic level training in EMDR, an evidenced-based practice which has proven effective for the treatment of trauma.

I will be carrying the effects of this course with me throughout my work and have enormous gratitude for the knowledge and skillset I’ve received from participating in this course.

Debra Payne, LCSW

This seminar and all of its accompanying reading material (e.g. Dolores and Mosquera; Boon, Steele, and Van der Hart) has given me the tools to be a much more effective EMDR therapist than I ever could have hoped to be on my own.
